The Fentanyl Flood
Just a few hours ago the (Detroit Area) Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team carried out search warrant in the City of Belleville, Michigan and found 435 grams of methamphetamine and 104 grams of fentanyl along with guns. Belleville, Michigan, has a beautiful name. It is also a beautiful city. About 3,391 people live there. Locally and, nationally, the city is known for the Annual Belleville National Strawberry Festival. Main Street is not only a traditional Main Street it is an active and bustling business center. During discussions about this drug raid someone reminded me that cold medicines can produce methamphetamines and other chemicals things like bath salts. This is a very serious issue.
