Survival of the Richest

As Americans lose their homes and jobs how about a little information about how John Maynard Keynes married into the Darwin family and was an ardent fan of evolution? His theories and actions were based on that. Also - don't you think it odd that economists who believe in the survival of the fittest can also claim that some corporations are too big to fail? It's like saying the brontosaurus was too big to fail - so, uh, loan the brontosaurus all the leaves it says it needs. That didn't work. Speaking of survival of the fittest - were you aware that in the very near past that there were stock exchanges in nearly every city in the United States? They provided local financing and investment opportunities for local businesses as well as providing a support for larger companies coming into or passing through a local community. One might say in that case - smaller is bigger.
